So phase one of my roof-top garden project is complete; I managed to get the pallet upstairs and out my window without any problems. Thanks for the help, mom!
It fits sooo perfectly under my window, that I just have to smile. It's like it was meant to be there, housing lots of little plants that will soon become dinner. Mmm.
Started Phase Two, which is to cut/drill holes into the yogurt containers so that they'll drain well. Then all I have to do is plant. It's almost too easy. But I'm having so much fun doing it. And watching the plants sprout and grown with each passing day will be such a gratifying experience.
I must add that Straus makes the best yogurt I've ever found at an American store. Of course homemade beats all, but they're pretty damn delicious. So creamy and smooth. I like to go whole milk ALL the way. None of that low-fat crap. If you're gonna eat yogurt, you might as well do it right. (The french vanilla container belonged to my mom, who needs it sweet.) I love the taste of plain yogurt. No sugar. Nothing but LIVE cultures.. mmm
The goat milk yogurt was super good too, everyone should try it at some point in their lives. Or just drink goat's milk straight from a teat... hmm, the things you experience in 3rd grade....
