Who Stole the Cookie?

Recently a friend of mine gave me some limes from his tree, of which the branches were ready to snap from the weight of the fruit. I don't often have limes in the house, and when I do they usually disappear into my parents' water glasses, so having my own, private limes was pretty cool. I decided to give them a special purpose, and this afternoon I made a batch of lime cookies. The recipe is from a great food blog called Honest Fare, written by "Gabrielle" from Florida.

It was so much fun to bake these, and they taste wonderful. My mom stole about 6 of them today. I think I'm going to need to ask for more limes! It's so great to know that they came from just down the street. Now that's eating locally.
