Sunward

During my last week in Hawaii I decided to paint the view from my house. I used to sit on the rock wall by the water and stare at the mountains for hours. I'd sit on that rock wall almost every day. Most days my neighbor would join me and we'd watch the sunset from the west side of the wall together.

This evening I went for a run around the fields here in Tübingen, and saw the most beautiful sunset. It might be horribly cold and unpleasant outside, but the sky can be really beautiful (given it's not foggy or raining!)

I miss art... and seeing the colors in nature. I think I need to turn to the sky a bit more.
